Another great day! Madison laid down 2 super rounds earning 3rd in both in the younger 3’3 amateur owners! Kyleigh was just out of the ribbons in her first round but brought it back and earned her first 80 in her first round classic in the Low children’s hunters putting her in 2nd! On to tomorrow for flats, finishing out divisions and second rounds of classics!

What a day! @mvmonteith laid down a beautiful round in an unbelievably competitive national derby, and while we were just out of the ribbons, we were so happy with the round and the sheer consistency that she and her Cover Story have been displaying lately. @kyleigh.drummond wrapped us up for the day by competing in her FIRST hunter derby ever, showing off all her hard work coming home with fourth!! It might have been a non pro derby but let me tell you, the competition was stiff and she held her own today! Beautiful rounds today but also some great moments got to be captured that truly show off the environment we strive for at Kress Creek. We have @robbiedrummond09 , Kyleigh’s dad, who is whole heartedly embracing being a horse show dad not just to Kyleigh but to everyone (and who is making quick strides in his seeming endeavor to add top groom to his resume 🤪🤪). But even more importantly our students help and cheer on each other as well as other competitors, help each other prep, help learn courses, help put on a shadbelly and stock tie for the first time. We are a family and today(always really) my girls exhibited that sentiment flawlessly.

Love love love this pair🥰 they have come leaps and bounds since their first show a few weeks ago as they have started to learn each other. They have laid down 4 solid trips this week in the open 2’6 division so far getting back in the show groove and topped it off with taking 2nd in the open flat today with stiff competition! On to Eq and derby day tomorrow then the weekend!
