LIMBECK / REFLECTIONS

Imagine if Ryan Adams and Wilco had a baby, then raised it on midwest emo. That amazing child would be Limbeck (@limbeckband).

The gents from Limbeck were gracious enough to chat with us at @programme a few weeks back. We looked back on the good old days at Koo’s and unpacked some of the core memories they left behind in Santa Ana.

They have nothing but love and fond memories of everyone from Karate (@thebandkarate) to Reggie and the Full Effect (@yourbuddyreggie), to sharing the living room with their great friend Rachael Cantu (@rachaelcantu), then hitting up a certain diner after hours.

Did you see Limbeck at Koo’s? Tell us your memories in the comments!

@robbmaclean and I recorded a couple songs each at his studio and released a split via bandcamp for our tour last summer. It has now reached the streaming airwaves! We would be over the moon if you took the time to check it out, or support us by grabbing a digital album on my Bandcamp page.
Thank you🤟

Limbeck
Jamboree Music Festival
Thanksgiving Point, Lehi, UT
09.08.2007

Next up, Limbeck's set from the festival. Not sure why I didn't take any at the night show with Reubens Accomplice at Kilby but both sets were so fun. Limbeck in Utah, always a good time and to get a double dose in a single day. Boy howdy!

This week I got to sit and have a conversation with the mighty Limbeck. One of my favorite bands and definitely some of the most talented songwriters ever imo. I hope i didn't fan boy too much 😂😂

Lou 💃🏻 killin' it in the vocal booth as Shane can't contain himself. Come have too much fun with us on Sunday, Aug. 16 at Alex's Bar in Long Beach. Free, 2pm doors matinee, wear them dancin' boots! Link in bio for DICE rsvp which helps out the bands. High 10 🙌

Overwhelmingly grateful to have another week on the road with our sweet buds in @theformat. Being in a touring band is such a unique experience where you’re kinda living in this alternate reality with some friends, and then you don’t see em for a handful of years. Having another week out with these guys just reminded me how much i love em, and how lucky we are to have ever crossed paths in the first place. 🙏🏼❤️ great times… until we do it again !
