Reminded of the words of a favorite @wku undergraduate mentor, “Rob, you just don’t know what the future holds.” Indeed, when I made the decison less than 2-years ago to make a career pivot, leave my job and accept admission to @universityofky I could not have dreamed all that was “wildly possible” during my @ukydhn masters.

Filled with gratitude to the selection committee and President Capilouto for the opportunity to address my fellow graduates in @rupp_arena next Friday. President Capilouto showed tremendous leadership in taking the time to call me personally last week to congratulate me on my being chosen. When I thanked him for taking the time in his busy schedule, he stated, “Rob, I fight every day to be able to make these calls.”

Honored to have the chance to GET to represent @ukydhn and @ukagriculture . While also acknowledging 🙏 to @elevation.health and @beechwoodhighofficial for laying a foundation of growth. ❤️ to my family @rgd868890 @sgande3 @lauren_keith918 for the unrelenting support of my endeavors in academics, research and service.

I’ve been a fan of @craftedenergy for awhile, I admire how they do business(handwritten thank you notes). They source transparent clean ingredients in all products, which also happen to be delicious!

@garmin has been down for the past 24 hours...#endurance community is having a slight freak out(I was with them immediately following yesterday’s morning run) “oh no my run isn’t uploading to @strava !”

While I love technology & the community sharing results in training builds, I’m reminded that at the end of the day as @etthehiphoppreacher “Look in the mirror, that’s your competition”

This is also why I still keep a pen & paper training log writing out my program for the week on Sunday afternoon.
