We were honored to have a film screen at the Playhouse West-Philadelphia Film Festival for the second year in a row! Congrats to the amazing cast and crew of “Not Safe for Work” for its four Grand Jury Award nominations. BIG congrats to Sarah Morrison-Cleary for her much-deserved Best Supporting Actress in a Short Film win! There’s no better feeling than making a comedy film and hearing laughter from the audience at its first screening. We’re so blessed to be part of this community of creatives who truly lift each other up! #notsafeforwork #playhousewest #shortfilms

What a week! 🎬I flew back from LA, immediately worked on a set with amazingly talented people, and then got to watch more incredible work at the Playhouse West film festival where I accepted the Grand Jury Award for Best Actress in a Short Film🤩

Because I didn’t get to thank everyone I wanted to in my unexpected speech, I thought I could do that here…

Thank you to Playhouse West. From the teachers, to the actors, and everyone in between, this community has impacted me in ways I can’t explain. Over the last 2 years, you have welcomed me with open arms, challenged me, inspired me, all while cheering me on. I know that this is because of you all, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥️

I want to thank my best friends, those in class & outside of class. You are all my biggest cheerleaders, and I don’t know where I’d be without your encouragement. Thank you for always being there to help dust me off and push me forward 🩷

Thank you to anyone who made Luna🌙 a reality:

Writer: Amos Quoi
Producer: @lpetersen_

Production Designer: Brittanie Blackwell
DP: @maxwellcollinsdp
Gaffer: @jordansheppard08
Key Grip: @vazquezjustin_
Sound: @eldric.laron & Stephano Saldutti
Script Supervisor: @phin.nigan
BTS: @crossedroses
PA: @hanny_harley

And all who donated/ helped produce this work🤍

And finally, thank you to my family. I started acting when I was 6, because my mom signed me up for a theater audition. Since then, I knew that acting was a passion I could never let go of. Without the support and encouragement from my family, I wouldn’t be doing what I love most🤍 (major shoutout to my uncles who donated towards the project). And to my grandparents… before my grandfather passed away, he said “when will we get to see you in another show?”… I wish that I could show them this, but I have a feeling they know🤍 🪽thank you to my angels.

Bless the beaten path that lead me here♥️ I cannot wait to work with as many people in this community as possible. Here’s to story telling!! ✨

So excited — and incredibly honored — to be invited back to the @phoenixvillefilmfestival for a second straight year. Phoenixville was at the top of our list of festival submissions for our latest film, Not Safe for Work. The theater, program, and events were some of the best we’ve been to, and we can’t wait to be back September 17-20. We encourage anybody in the Philly area to check out the festival - great films, great dining on Bridge Street where the @thecolonialtheatre is, and an overall great time!

Special thanks to our executive producers, @evphiladelphia

This chapter was unforgettable🤍

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who voted for me, encouraged me, prayed for me, and showed me so much love throughout this experience. Every message, every kind word, and every bit of support meant more than you know.
Representing Morocco and Texas was an honor I’ll always carry with me. One of the greatest gifts from this experience was meeting such incredible women. I’m lucky to now call them my friends..each one supportive, talented, beautiful inside and out.

I’ll continue doing what I’ve always been passionate about: helping women through my business, creating a space where they feel seen, cared for, and confident again.
Thank you for being part of this beautiful chapter. ❤️🇲🇦

Our second film, Not Safe For Work, has received its first selection: The Playhouse West-Philadelphia Film Festival, August 21-23!

Logline: An out-of-place, award-winning filmmaker at a soulless marketing firm carries out her boss's cruel ultimatum on the wrong person.

The amazing, talented students at @playhousewestphiladelphia helped propel our first film, A Quart of Salt, to 24 festivals and 14 award wins, including multiple best film, audience choice, and best acting awards.

Not Safe For Work is more ambitious. While A Quart of Salt was high-concept, Not Safe For Work is a grounded, character-driven satire propelled by strong performances.

Congrats to everybody who worked on this film! Big thanks to @evphiladelphia for the amazing office space and support in making this film. Hopefully this selection is the first of another great run!
