Huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the Have a Heart tour!!! ✨
It's been a couple years since we ripped across the country and it was soul filling to connect with y'all again... and see some lovely family and friends along the way 😌

Big ups to the wonderful @royalwood for charming us all every night, @teamzsirai for holding the dang thing together, @karengwillim for helping us sound our best every night, as well as our team @melstoneee + @sonic_records @paquinartists for all their support.

After much consideration, it is with a big ol’ hat filled up with excitement that we are announcing we will be changing our band name to The Pintos effective immediately.

After three years of Matt Paxton & the Pintos, since Chris started backing up Matt on pedal steel and introducing Matt to Carrie and Robin, to rehearsals, playing local shows, recording and releasing music, touring, appearing at festivals, writing together, playing more and more shows throughout the province, we have become more than a backing band backing up a singer-songwriter. We have become close friends, a family, and one as a band. We are The Pintos!

We are excited to show off some new songs and art we are creating currently, while still playing the “old” ones too. Thanks for listening and for all of the support from the past few years. Here’s to the next chapter! Come join The Pintos over at @thepintosss and stay tuned for more announcements.💨

Peace and love, The Pintos

Overthinker.

Our new 4-song EP is out NOW. Available everywhere.

Produced, recorded, mixed by @marcjacobhudson @ranchorecordo deep in the woods of Michigan.

Mastered by Alan Douches @westwestsidemusic in NY.

We wrote these songs together on the dark edges of Windsor, ON, Canada and recorded them across the river in Michigan with Marc over a few days in 2024. Incredibly honoured to be able to work with Marc to bring these songs to life. We recommend they are best served LOUD.

Special thanks to everyone who has been with us along this journey. We are very lucky to have so many other creative collaborators and music lovers supporting us. Excited to start this next chapter with these new songs. Lots more to come.

Link in bio. Enjoy!
