9 to 5 - DOLLY CAST

Based on the 1980 film, 9 To 5 The Musical was performed from 20-23 May by the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre L5 students. Featuring music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and a book by Patricia Resnick, the piece offers a look at female solidarity and revenge in a late 1970s corporate office.

The narrative explores the experiences of three female co-workers who concoct a plan to overthrow their sexist supervisor, incorporating comedic elements alongside themes of workplace empowerment.

This production was directed and choreographed by Rob Foley @robert_jazz_dancer , with musical direction by Andy Manning.

The technical and stage management team comprised light designer Joel Perroy, stage manager Jody Rafferty @jodyrafferty_ , and assistant stage manager Beatriz Junqueiro.

The cast featured:
