Spotlighting Robert Walusimbi Mitchell 👑

Originally from Framingham, Massachusetts, Robert Walusimbi Mitchell is a rising second-year Business Administration major with a concentration in Management at Morehouse College who has already made a remarkable impact during his first year on campus through leadership, advocacy, and service.

This past academic year, Robert served as Freshman Class Council President, demonstrating his commitment to uplifting and representing his peers from the very beginning of his college journey. In addition, he competed in the African Student Association Pageant, where he earned the title of 2nd Attendant to Mr. ASA for the 2026–2027 school year. Next year, Robert will also serve within the Morehouse College Student Government Association as Senator-at-Large.

Through both of his leadership roles, Robert is focused on creating meaningful and lasting change throughout his campus community. As Senator-at-Large, his legislative platform, “CLUTCH” (Creating Legislation Uniting the Community of the House), centers around passing and enforcing legislation that directly serves the needs of students. Simultaneously, through his platform “LEGACY” (Leadership Elevating Global Awareness, Culture, and Youth) as 2nd Attendant to Mr. ASA, Robert aims to promote awareness, pride, unity, and empowerment among students of African descent.

Accomplishing all of this during his first year of college speaks volumes about Robert’s dedication, vision, and leadership. We are excited to continue watching him grow and make his mark within the AUC and beyond!!
