Proud of what @broadwaterboatworks has become is an understatement and a dream for me and my team. You know you have made it and made one badass boat when everyone in industry is trying to copy you now. As Ricky Bobby once said “if you ain’t first your last”. There is only one real Baycat and we have absolutely nailed it! The future is bright with a back log of bay cats and bigger boats in the works. Proud, blessed, and ready to keep building the best bay boat out there.

We are only a few weeks away from our first ever Waterman Inshore Slam taking place July 10-11 in St. Petersburg. We wouldn’t be able to put on this event without the support from our sponsors. This catch and release spin fishing (bait & artificial) tournament is a fundraiser for Tampa Bay Waterkeeper and our efforts to protect, improve & preserve the Tampa Bay watershed!

Over the next few days we’ll highlight the companies that are standing up to support our work by sponsoring next month’s tournament.

Here is Round 1 of our sponsor acknowledgements. These generous companies believe in our work to protect the Tampa Bay watershed and they are leading by example!

PS. If you haven’t registered yet, there is still time! The deadline to register is THIS FRIDAY 6/26. See link in bio!

We are excited to announce YEAR 3 of the Waterman Fly Fishing Tournament Skiff Showcase taking place prior to our awards dinner at the Bradenton Yacht Club on Saturday, February 21st. The skiff showcase is for anglers and registered dinner guests only.

We cannot be more appreciative of the following boat manufacturing companies that have contributed to our efforts to protect, improve & preserve the Tampa Bay watershed:

Ankona Boats
Broadwater Boatworks
Cayo Boatworks
Chittum Skiffs
East Cape Boats
Floyd Skiff Co
Hells Bay Boatworks
Macuch Craft
Skimmer Skiff

Big thanks to each of these great companies for giving back to Tampa Bay! We look forward to seeing the amazing boats displayed at next weekend’s event!

Like last year, anglers will receive skiff showcase “punch cards” when checking in at the Bradenton Yacht Club. Anglers can visit each of the boat displays to receiving a “punch” for each visit they have. After visiting all of the boat companies, anglers can then drop their punch cards in the “Skiff Showcase Draw Bucket” for a chance to win a Tibor Gulfstream reel courtesy of @bergerfernandezlaw

What a difference a week makes! ☀️ It’s looking like prime fishing conditions this Saturday. It’s anyone’s tournament to win. Who’s it gonna be this year?
