Here’s the meetup crew from today! A beautiful afternoon made only better by great people and wonderful sketches! Some of us even got to hang out after over chips, margaritas, and laughs.

Thanks to everyone who came! Hope to see you all again next month— Saturday, May 4th in Main Street Speedway!

It was cold, but we had a blast! These sketchers braved the the frigid temperatures this past Saturday morning at the @indywfmkt at @theampindy! We loved the energy this place brings, which makes it the perfect indoor venue to sketch in the winter.

Thanks to all who went, and see you all in February!

It’s been a long time since Roberta and I have been in the same gallery show. The Itsa Show. Next First Friday at the @ccicartists

Our first piece of art for the fundraiser is this beautiful watercolor of the one and only Itsa, by @robertaavidor.

Itsa was known for wandering the halls and finding an open studio to provide her with attention and treats. You can see by her many comfy positions that she found comfort in spending time with her humans.

Stop by Roberta’s studio upstairs (S34) on First Friday to view her beautiful watercolor work - my favorite of her work is her paintings of Indy.

You can see this piece in person at the Itsa Art Show on Friday, November 3rd from 6-9 at Circle City Industrial Complex (@ccicartists), the Stokol Gallery on the first floor. 100% of proceeds will benefit @faceanimalclinic.

[SKETCHBOOK]

Had a great time at tonight’s @urbansketchers meetup at @newfieldstoday. That place has an abundance of inspiring things to sketch, so I just picked a spot at the gardens, and sketched the first thing that caught my attention. The intense summer sun made for good backlighting against the courtyard area that I simply couldn’t resist.

Come join us at the next meetup!

What I used:
- @fabercastellglobal polychromos pencils
- @strathmoreart 3x9 watercolor travel pad
- @rembrandtartistpaint watercolor set

We just got back from celebrating our wedding anniversary in Mackinac Island, where we went on our honeymoon forty years ago. Mackinac Island is a beautiful island… and it’s car-free!!! @mackinacisle
