City of Dance — Koyaanisqatsi
June 17, 2026
Hollywood Forever, Los Angeles

This past June, L.A. Dance Project performed City of Dance — Koyaanisqatsi at Hollywood Forever, where dance joined the films, concerts, and gatherings that bring the city together among the resting places of Hollywood's founders and stars.

City of Dance moved through Southern California's landmarks, bringing free performance to museums, gardens, parks, and the edge of the sea. Set to Philip Glass's Koyaanisqatsi, it invited the city, and whoever happened to be passing through, to stop and watch.

Presented in partnership with @parisdanceproject
Choreographers @benjaminmillepied @dimitrichamblas @mchollander @jamarrobertsofficial @pamtanowitzdanceofficial
Costume design @camille_assaf_design
Music @philipglass
Rehearsal director + stagers @tear27 @lindzoidjones @jacqueline.bulnes
