We’re pleased to announce our next gallery show is a group show curated in collaboration with @visionaryprojectsnyc: Morning Dew

Morning Dew is a collection of abstract and figurative works across eleven participating painters, illustrators, and sculptors. Inspired by the seasonal shift into spring after a contemplative winter, the pieces each hold an inner melancholia that gestures towards optimism. Like the wetness from a night storm that remains upon dawn, so too do memories and lessons remain in the face of emergence. These raw artworks evoke themes of travel, connection, possibility, and nuance. With roots in Ukraine, China, Germany, Korea, Pakistan, Mexico, Portugal, and New York, the artists of Morning Dew offer a fresh perspective on the influence of setting for new beginnings.

Opening night reception is this Thursday May 9, 2024 from 6:30 to 8 pm. We thank @wildarcfarm and @almave for their generous libation donations – come discuss art and taste the unique offerings of our partners and creative community.

@mcollectionnyc in DUMBO is moving, but before they leave their Front St location, they are throwing a party 🎈and hosting a pop-up exhibit for some local Brooklyn-based artists 👩🏼‍🎨 myself included.

More details to come, but for now save the date January 25th for the party or the evening of January 26th, when I will do an artist talk and tour of the show.

Included in the exhibit is this watercolor painting of mine, Embraced, as well as a handful of other pieces by me.

The paintings are already up, so if you are in the area another day sooner, stop in to see the art.
