Swampfest is beginning to feel like a time capsule and it ages like fine wine.
Year 8 (9 ever, and I’ve only ever missed the first). Year after year, it continues to fill my heart with so much joy to see everyone. We’ve all grown, life has changed so much, but at the end of the day these little bikes will always be the bond that makes it feel like family. So many people not pictured too — but all the hugs, all the stoke, every little bit. Oh, and the mayhem of course, that part is fun too.
Thank you @florideahswampfest ❤️🤘🏼

Drunk dancing to a current favorite which Robert requested without me knowing. I’ve been wanting to dance to this song since I first heard it. Big hype.

One night, shortly after Robert and I met, I went out dancing at Mavericks. I knew hardly any mainstream country music since I spent the previous year not listening to music at all. Creek Will Rise came on (I had never heard it before) and Robert came running into the dance hall with all the energy I think he can possibly move with at any time. He snatched me and danced his heart out to it as if it was his favorite song in the world. The whole scene is burned in my memory. Since then we go hard to this song.
