A weekend of hiking in the clouds with the team was exactly what I needed, kicked off on Friday with a few not too far from home 🗻

Ben More 📍
Stob Binnein 📍

The walk reports did NOT lie when they compared Ben More to a stair master, my legs were on fireeee 🥵

Not much of a view at the top and the fog just didn’t want to clear for us when we were there, but we took plenty of breaks to take it all in. A fab day weather wise but there was definitely a chill in the air 🥶

The colder days are coming especially on the hills, so always remember to pack sensibly & take extra layers for the windy summits.

Another incredible trip away with the Scotland Hikes crew ❤️⛰️

Honestly just feel really lucky to have such an amazing bunch of people coming along on these adventures. Plenty of laughs, good times and memories being made that we’ll hopefully look back on for years to come! For me this is what it’s all about. Getting outdoors, exploring more of Scotland, bringing people together and just enjoying life a little bit 🙌 Every trip reminds me why I started doing these in the first place and it’s class seeing the wee community we’ve built along the way. Thanks to everyone who came and made it another one to remember ❤️

Here’s to plenty more adventures and memories together! 🥾🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Another 2 ticked off taking me to 44 Munro’s 🥳

Last weekend the weather started off on our side then it changed very quickly! Absolutely soaked right through & cold for at least an hour of our hike was not what we signed up for, but after a few stops & pep talks we got moving again! I most definitely got a second wind after the first one which made up for our good timing!

If you look these Munro’s up online you’ll see that it just seems to drop off at the end & that wasn’t an exaggeration 😬 we gave up on walking down the hill at the end & slid down on our bums 🤣 trying to avoid rocks & poop while laughing our heads off was a lot of fun!

We have been so lucky this year with our weather on the majority of our hikes so I’ll take this one! Finally recovered & having a few weeks away from the hills before getting the winter gear out I think 🥶

Proud of us all as always & the pups for smashing it!

Swipe to the end to see how Prim recovered for 2 days afterwards 🥺🐾💕

Throwback to October 2025 to one of my favourite ever hikes! ☀️

A cloud inversion, amazing weather & a gorgeous sunset. what a day! a dark descend with only phone torches to guide us, a few slips in the mud but we made it back in one piece 😮‍💨

This hike most definitely taught up a lot of lessons & now we go fully prepared, well I do, Robert just turns up 🤣

Hoping to get a few clear weekends soon & get back out on the hills 🗻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🚐🐾☀️

4 Munro’s in 1 day in 20 odd degree heat was not for the faint hearted 🥵

However, we done it!! I have to admit I was lagging & did take my time (due to carrying 3l of water on my back & endless snacks) but I’m glad I did as the heat was ALOT for me, plenty water & snack breaks were taken, one car key lost, lots of bug bites but an absolutely amazing day with everyone on the hills!

I’m not going to lie I wasn’t too keen on walking the Devils Ridge or the scramble involved but it definitely wasn’t as bad as I thought!

Not just challenging on the legs & knees, but mega challenging on the mindset too. Had to remind myself more than once that I can do it & I will all be over soon 🤣proud of everyone who joined us for this hike!

Couldn’t have asked for a better day weather condition wise for these two gorgeous Munro’s last weekend. Sleeping in the car was definitely worth it to catch these ones early & get up then back down before it got too busy.

Amazing views all the way up & walking into some of the most unreal spots.

A great weekend with the boys, one for the books for sure! ☀️ 🗻✨

What a fab night climbing these 2 Munro’s with absolutely gorgeous views the whole way & getting to the top of Càrn Aosda just in time for the sunset 🌅

Back down just in time for it getting dark & camping out in the car was most definitely an experience but was so worth it for the early rise for the next 2!

What a great day up in the clouds, what started off with wet & soggy conditions slowly turned into a gorgeous day with the most amazing views!

Will never get tired of pushing myself & getting to do all of it with my wild girl by my side…& of course the rest of the team 🐶
