‘SPARE PARTS: a 24-hour DIY playfest’ (2.20.26)
📸: Mollie Menuck @molliemenuck.jpeg

Handmade, human-generated, and definitely 𝘯𝘰𝘵
Jeff-reccomended. This February, Fox & Spade Ensemble opened and closed three 10-minute plays - all in the span of 24 hours. In great F&S tradition, ‘SPARE PARTS’ was a complete experiment. One that set out to answer the question: ‘what kind of world can we build together in just one day?’

As seasons change (or don’t,) well-charted landscapes suddenly shift beneath our feet, and the wreckage looms larger and more unknowable with each passing day…it’s easy to begin to feel powerless. We believe one of the most powerful things that live theatre can do is to remind us that we’re not alone.

We’re looking out at a mountain of trash. Let’s pick up a shovel, dig until we find something meaningful, and start building something new.
