All New Ghost Rider issue 1
Funny was I bought this off the shelf when it came out and didn't read it until years later lol. I put in a box that was the wrong box so I misplaced it until I was reorganizing my collection and found it in a stack of Green Lantern books lol.
What book have you "Misplaced" for years lol?

My pencil rendition of ROBIN, the Boy Wonder, for a DC SUPERFRIENDS STEP INTO READING kids book! These books were a nice change of pace for me, and I think it made a lot of pre-school kids happy, and helped many of them learn to read! I take pride in knowing that these books were thousands of kids' introduction to DC Comics characters like Superman, Batman, Robin, Green Lantern, the Flash, etc. Kids are the best audience ever!#robin#boywonder#timdrake#dickgrayson#dcsuperfriends#superfriends#dcomics#justiceleague#kidsbooks#childrensbooks#stepintoreading

Batman "Knightfall" saga #497 (publishedJuly 1993)

This panel depicts one of the most iconic and paradigm-shifting moments in modern comic book history: "The Breaking of the Bat." In the sprawling 1993 Knightfall storyline, the supervillain Bane orchestrates a massive breakout at Arkham Asylum, releasing all of Batman's most dangerous foes at once. His master plan is to systematically wear Bruce Wayne down physically and psychologically by forcing him to recapture every single criminal without a moment to rest. By the time a completely exhausted, battered, and sleep-deprived Batman returns to the Batcave, Bane is waiting for him in the shadows. Incapable of matching Bane's raw, Venom-fueled strength in his current state, Bruce is easily overpowered. The fight culminates in this exact panel where Bane hovers over him, declares "I BREAK YOU", and shatters Batman's spine over his knee. Leaving Bruce Wayne paralyzed on the floor of his own home, Bane takes over the criminal underworld of Gotham City.

This forced a reluctant temporary retirement for Bruce and led to a darker era where a more ruthless vigilante named Jean-Paul Valley (Azrael) took up the mantle of Batman, ultimately proving that Bruce was irreplaceable and setting up his eventual triumphant return.

#superhero #like and #follow my #art on #instagram
