The wait is nearly over. This Saturday, the first @nottsfamily - Outlaws of Design collection lands at our launch party, celebrating the city, creative culture and the places that make it what it is.

From Cloughie to Menelaus the Left Lion, Pelham Street Pharmacy to the Lace Market, every design has a little piece of Nottingham etched into it.

Expect city-inspired designs, iconography and a nod to the things that make us, well… Notts.

Fearless Dread have made their mark on the 140/bass/dubstep scenes with a point to prove. Every release they've put out offers something great, whether it be on vinyl or self-released through their Bandcamp pages.

Fearless Dread are a London-based dubstep duo made up of producers Sam (Arkwright) and Charlie (Chuckman). Emerging from the UK bass music scene, the pair bonded over a shared passion for classic DMZ-era dubstep, UK garage, and deep 140 BPM sounds. Their music blends heavyweight sub-bass, crisp percussion, and old-school influences with a modern production approach, earning support from respected figures across the underground bass community.

Since debuting with the N4 / Double Red EP on Juan Forté in 2019, Fearless Dread have built a strong catalogue through releases on Plantpower, Sub Merchants, Sublock, Dimeshift, and their own Sovereign imprint. Their Lost Dubs series further showcased their dedication to authentic soundsystem-focused dubstep, while tracks such as Sucker Punch highlighted their ability to fuse classic aesthetics with contemporary energy.

Alongside their studio output, Fearless Dread have developed a respected live presence, supporting influential acts, appearing at events such as Outlook Origins, and hosting regular shows on Rinse FM. Remaining active in 2026, the duo continue to release new music, perform internationally, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of UK underground bass music.

From the depths of Sherwood Forest comes Robin Dub Records outlaw dubstep built on deep dub influence, heavyweight low-end and that unmistakable classic dubstep sound. We’re very happy to welcome Robin and Friar Duck to Deeper Sounds for the very first time.

Rooted in music made for soundsystems, Robin Dub has become a respected name across the Midlands underground, known for rich dub textures, sub-low levelling rumble and a sound that always feels true to the foundations. Since launching the label in 2020, Robin and Friar Duck have built real value within the Nottingham dubstep scene—consistently pushing stripped-back pressure and timeless low-end through a strong run of limited vinyl releases.

Their catalogue has featured heavyweight contributions from artists including @teffa.oe @gaz_congi_frost @fearlessdread @khanumdubs @majoroaksounds and MNTX with every release carrying that unmistakable Robin Dub energy. After reviving the label once again last year with a huge return and standout releases from @soundsoftenshu and @karnagejp , we’re really happy to welcome them back and feature them on this next Deeper Sound event. We’ve provided you a catalogue of their releases for you to have a ganders at even if some of them are dub-plates forever now! They will be continuing their vinyl run very soon with Teffa releasing on the label once again which will be an instant cop!

We’re looking forward to having both Robin and Friar Duck in Leicester and are intrigued how they will set the tone to for the set they bring with them. Whether it’s deep dub pressure, classic dubstep selections or pure sub-heavy soundsystem weight, we know they’ll bring something special.
