Squat Lobster

“Squat Lobster are not a Christmas band.” They’re also not very good at writing bios. They’re not a Christmas band, but they do wear Christmas jumpers BUT refuse to take bookings in December. Thank goodness it’s only November. I first saw them a couple of years ago at the @reworknorwich Christmas Show, and boy, do they know how to entertain. Armed with little leather wingtips and ukuleles, they could turn a siesta into a fiesta (car). It’s an absolute honour to have these boys playing with us tonight. What could possibly go wrong?

12/11/2026 Tickets and info on @deadwaxnorwich website & through our link in bio.

Featuring: @maxinemeixnerx, @bradleytaylorpoet, @abbie.neale, @squatlobsterband, @rosspearsonart and @jacksgard.en #bland

Robin Evans Esq alongside his sister Eleanor Evans. Apparently. Best not to ask too many questions… 😉

Seriously though - such a class act and two of the nicest people I’ve met in music in a long while - check out their work and harmonies!

24th July 2026. Last time I saw Art House Horror, they were support for Twat Union. This time they were deservedly headlining and did an excellent job of promoting the launch of their new, self-titled EP at Voodoo Daddy's, ably assisted on their penultimate song by local legend Robin Evans with a lovely bit of bottleneck guitar.
Lead singer Lucy is due to produce an extra band member next January (all the best people are born in January) but there might be a gig this September. It would be great if the new arrival doesn't prevent more gigs next year but, as Lucy says, "Most of the people we would ask to babysit would want to come to the gig," so it could be a problem. I'll be keeping an eye out for the opportunity of another chance of a most enjoyable evening.
