Such a thrill to rendezvous @royalacademyarts Summer Show with @gwenythfugard to see our paintings hanging opposite each other. Gwenyth and I have been friends since I first arrived in London in 1984 and both worked in the fashion industry for many years and we graduated together from @cityandguildsart MA course in 2017.
Among many other works (which I forgot to photograph)we admired @robinmasonrobin lovely painting.

Great to see Ana Kazaroff's show again at Nobu's White Box space today - love this from her statement:

“The first thing my grandmother did when we visited her was to sit at one end of the
table and begin slicing salami, as if engaging in a small ritual. The blade made a soft rhythm against the wood, releasing the savoury aroma. Beneath our feet, the pale yellow terrazzo floor shimmered with fragments of coloured marble. The white pieces of fat in the salami seemed to echo those marble chips, as if one substance were dreaming of becoming the other. When my grandmother polished the terrazzo, she slipped old pieces of carpet under her feet and glided across the room like a patient dancer, coaxing light out of stone.”

...the show has been extended to next Thursday

Caught the last day of The Nature of Things curated by @janehayesgr @castor_gallery and it was good and I got there with only two hours to go so it seemed just as apt to recommend it two days after it’s come down

Curated by #janehayesgreenwood (image 3) the exhibitoon has works by 19 artists around the theme of nature in a digitalised world threatened by climate change. Beautiful pairings and clever conceptual connections all enhanced by the architecture of Holy Trinity 🕍🕯️
