#Labocine April 2026: mathēmatiká is now live. April is here — a month of patterns, shapes, equations, strange symmetries, and impossible geometries. For once, even on April 1, the numbers don’t lie. A spiral repeats. A grid collapses. A number becomes a landscape. More than 100 films from the Science New Wave drift through loops, probabilities, paradoxes, and the mathematics hidden inside cinema. mathēmatiká unfolds alongside Symbiosis x Infinite Sums with the Simons Foundation, where scientists and filmmakers gather around mathematical obsessions and unanswered questions to make new films. See you in the spiral ∿∞ #mathematika #labocine #sciencenewwave #sciencecinema

this year I made this lil film called LANEWAYS as a part of being in the Workman Arts' If You Ask Me Program. it screened at Rendez Vous Fest, and it was a huge part of what got me through such an up and down year. huge thank you to @jonnie__lombard who insanely agreed to be the only face in the film and brought such life to the screen thank you to @donriverthemusic for shooting the 16mm and being moral support lol thank you to the voices of @it_is_past_my_bedtime69, @yid_vicious and @crosshatch.ho who spoke so candidly and rly just trusted being involved in such a vulnerable light and @audiofish.ca and @tae.sax who fixed all my awful audio recording mistakes and added so much depth with their creative minds and finally the IYAM cohort and mentors who were some of the most special people i've crossed paths with this year !! last pic taken by @poppi_fp ❤️ I'm not sure what the future of this film is but feel free to DM me for a link to watch it in the state it's in currently
