Today feels weird… just last night we were jamming on stage w @codyjinks + @5fdpchriskael 🤘This tour was incredible ✨🌙 Meeting so many amazing friends made it that much more awesome. The real kind of “we promise to keep in contact” type friends. 🥹 To all the amazing fans, thank you for welcoming us to the biggest stages we’ve ever played! We’re just getting started. This crazy ✨Starshine ✨fever dream isn’t over… we are far from over. See you again soon 🖤🤘

Somewhere between the late nights, incredible crowds, great hangs and miles on the road we started to wonder if this was all just one big fever dream.

Our new song “Starshine” captures a little bit of that feeling and we can’t wait for you to hear it! 🫶🤘

Road Restocks 🎸 are necessary when you’re on a run this long 🚍

Favs from Tennessee 📸 9 shows left w/ @evaunderfire — I’m not quite ready for it to end yet.

In Tampa tonight — let’s see what happens (other than me being a human puddle from all this humidity ☔️)

POV: You’re photographing x filming @evaunderfire 🔥

From the time that the first few beats of “Awakening” open the set, all the way until the band walks off stage, I am moving and shooting 🎥.

As the first act of the night, they get about a half hour to do what they do best, which gives me a half hour 📸 to do the same, and I absolutely make the most of my time out there.

Using the @raybanmeta glasses (shout out to @betternoisemusic for making this happen), I was able to operate them in a controlled environment where crowd capture is the standard; but I also focused 👓 strictly on the band who consented to this form of capture.

With how close I am to the action audio wise 🎤, I couldn’t vocally trigger the glasses during the run, but having the button on the right arm of the glasses 👓, I could quickly hold it in between shots to start recording, and was cognizant of when the recording indicator light would shut on/off so I could start another clip.

In total, this footage was close to 20 minutes 🕐, which was then lightly trimmed for security / safety before modified into a time lapse. Being able to also give a glimpse of what I’m doing with my @sonyalpha gear is an added perk!

Because I’ve been on the road with @evaunderfire for 29 days on this 2nd leg with @5fdp x @codyjinks 🤘, I’ve had time to absorb how each band member moves and where their high spots are, which makes this footage second nature to capture. If I didn’t know them and their songs the way I do, this wouldn’t have worked as well.

I also make time to walk my paces every show day during soundcheck 🎸 to determine where all my open pathways are on and off stage so I can maximize the time I have instead of panic navigating if a change has been made to the stage plot or access points.

I will say, it’s epic to see what I do through another lens on a daily basis. Nobody can say I don’t work hard 😉 now I have proof!

Continually thankful to @evaunderfire for trusting me in this space to create for them 🤘
