POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I hope you brought plenty of quarters… Here’s your first look at our official Street Fighter figures for the upcoming movie.”

You could say this project packed quite the Sonic Boom. So much passion, creativity, and countless hours went into making sure these figures captured the look and energy of the film while staying true to the iconic characters we’ve loved for decades.

I’m incredibly proud of what our team created together—from the dynamic articulation to the cinematic details that bring these legendary fighters to life. I can’t wait for fans to get these in hand.

A special shoutout to @roboraptor66, my design partner throughout this journey. I couldn’t have asked for a better “toy fighter” to team up with.

Now if you’ll excuse me... I have a rematch to finish.

Rock N Roll: “ Whoaaaaaa Whoa Whoah sweetttttt childdddd offff mineeeeeee…..” 🎵🎵🎵

CoverGirl: “I love when he plays this song. Wait here comes the solo, wait where’s my phone ?” 👱🏼‍♀️📱

Today was a very exciting day for GI Joe. So many cool reveals and tons more characters added to the line. I’m Super hyped for the new Dragonfly Haslab and can’t wait for funding to start. But this week I got Rock N Roll in earlier than expected. This dude really rocks. In my mind when I first saw him I already knew I was going to have him ripping cords on top of my Armadillo. I picked “Sweet Child Of Mine” by Guns N Roses. I will always picture in my mind as a kid seeing Slash in front of that church killing his solo. If you could had picked a song for Rock N Roll to play, what song would you pick ? Sound of in the comments and let me know what song you can see Rock N Roll whaling too. 😎

On November 8th 1972 MEGO debuted the World's Greatest Super-Hero action figures at EJ Korvettes - a NY based retailer with over 50 stores - ahead of the New York Toy Fair in February. Marty wanted to see what the kid's reaction to the brightly colored boxes and figures for Superman, Batman, Robin, and Aquaman. What he saw was that the kids were buying up Batman, Robin, and Aquaman, but Superman was not selling. Marty asked a boy why he didn't want Superman and the kid said "that's Bizarro Superman - he's a bad guy! The S is backwards - that's Bizarro!" Marty looked at the figure and realized the emblem was printed backwards - a detail that most adults wouldn’t notice, but a child familiar with the characters would. The error was quickly corrected and when the full production line shipped out in the spring, Superman and the others sold quickly! In celebration of that special day when the MEGO World's Greatest Super-Hero action figures first hit store shelves, - Ben Holcomb, author of “World’s Greatest Toys” @mego_toy_talk has supplied us with an image of the actual Korvettes Counter Display Unit box filled with original boxed MEGO figures. We are declaring today National Mego Super-Hero Day! Please forward this post to your fellow Mego fans! Let’s all celebrate this day by posting pics of our favorite Mego World’s Greatest Super-Hero action figures! #MakeMineMego #50thanniversary #anniversary #holiday #holidays #toyfair #WGSH #worldsgreatestsuperheroes #mego #megocorp #megoactionfigures #megoactionfigure #actionfigure #toys #christmas
