@robot.tattoos might have a futuristic tattooing robot, but White Ghost has a nine-year-old that loves traditional tattooing.

DM for an appointment with Finn. He’s super temperamental, his tattoos hurt like hell, but they’re cool as f*ck.

ROBOTS and SPACESHIPS (TASCHEN Icons Series) Paperback –

190pgs, $20, 6×8”

This ICON title will be of special interest to anyone fascinated by early space travel and technology, those who simply want to wax nostalgic about a bygone era of their youth, and of course to collectors and fans of 50s and 60s tin toys.

The roots of today's toys can be seen in these precursors, notably in the early transformer robots. Taken from collector Teruhisa Kitahara's vast collection, which is on display in many museums in Japan, the robots and spaceships featured here are quite rare and give a wonderful overview of this era in the history of toys. A must for any toy lover!

Thanks again @ellison.barber and the @nbcnewsnow team for stopping by @bangbangnyc to see the Blackdot device in action--and to learn more about our new way to tattoo.

Yes, just let us know when you're ready for your @smashingpumpkins Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness tattoo (licensed from John Craig, the legendary collage artist behind the album art). As mentioned, next month is the 30th anniversary for this icon double album!

Got tattooed by a robot at @bangbangnyc @robot.tattoos
A surreal mix of art and technology — precise, futuristic, and one of a kind. Definitely a glimpse into where tattooing is headed.
