Continuing to post old finished projects. This one was painted for @burning_brush_award originally and received some smaller upgrades since. Not perfect but finished, might paint a bigger scale version sometime in the future since it's an amazing sculpt but I believe the scale is making the model a bit too flimsy. Fantastic sculpt by @casculpts for @robotrocketminiatures

Been looking forward to this one for a long time.

Noko by @robotrocketminiatures

Mostly painted with a limited palette (magenta, turquoise, black and white), with some skin colours and a touch of yellow. Really putting into practice ideas on values, saturation and hues. Delightful to paint and delighted with the result. Backdrop remains in progress.

2026 - “Beauty's Edge.” An incredible bust by @robotrocketminiatures that inspired me to take the plunge and repaint it, giving it the paintjob it deserves.

As my second project for @academia.davidarroba ,
I took a chance on NMM and OSL techniques, which I wasn’t very used to, and I’m really happy with the result. Also, great discover of the fluorescent pigments from @heramodels_minis , which are amazing (and addictive, hehe).

2026 - "Beauty's edge".

Next up, my Kingfisher from the lovely @robotrocketminiatures

I was very pleased to receive Silver medals for this little guy at Black Dragon and Fen Model Show (standard) in 2025.

One of my favourite ever pieces and reminds me that I need to paint some more animals soon.

The lotus flower becomes an incredible focal point thanks to @heramodels_minis fluor pigments.

So because I’m rubbish at remembering to photograph things… here is a run through from my entries to the @cultofpaint @miniaturepaintingopen last weekend.

This was a first time entering for me and I have to say a huge thank you to the judges and organisers of a fantastic event. It was lovely to hang out with other painters and admire all the wonderful work! Every display was so beautiful and different!

Now to wait for the tickets to be released for next year. And get painting the next round of competition entries.

Finally remembered to photograph this beauty. She was finished just in time for MPO, but it was down to the wire.

I have decided to name her: A long way from home.

Brushes: @tesseractminis
Paints: @akinteractive.official @kimera_models
Lamp: @daylight.lamps

One of the miniatures I enjoyed working on the most: "seeking refuge" by @robotrocketminiatures. What a an incredibly generous sculpt, she’s small but generous and leaves a lot of room for personal interpretation.

Thank you to @quentin_jimmy_poin and @nebriuson for the precious feedback, I wouldn’t be where I am now without you two 😃

And thank you my love @tamaragiczi for the pictures 😘
