Back to one of performing arts centers that has consistently been a part of my life for almost a decade, @strathmorearts. So thankful for the encouragement with my work as a teaching artist and performer. Tonight we are preparing for the FRESH AIR show, performing on election night, November 3 and soon, I’ll be back to prepare for my debut as a vocalist and percussionist with the Strathmore Jazz Orchestra, conducted by @danjammusic on December 18. Check out my website for more info in bio or go to the Strathmore website. Let’s play.

Excited to add @thisislea_music “Coming to Voice” to our repertoire. Inspired by @bellhooks_ words, “Coming to voice is an act of resistance”, this is a piece for the ages, and certainly for our times.

See us perform this and other songs of joy, resistance, and resilience for a weekend of shows on October 24 at 3:00 with Baltimore National Heritage Area (BNHA) at the @thepealebaltimore and October 25 at 2:00 at UUCSS.

I got to jam last night with the new AIR class at @strathmorearts mansion. These musicians range from Latin jazz styles to bluegrass and beyond. I’m proud of the leadership and organization put forward by my former band leader and musical family, @rochellericemusic. Keep the bar high!!!! @teampacificdrums and @domain_cymbals.
