Encore! Get your tickets for the May 2nd and May 3rd showing for this unforgettable story. Play synopsis: The play unfolds in two distinct but interconnected eras: the 1400s and the 1800s. 1400 vs 1800 is a dramatic exploration of greed, power, and historical consequences. It asks whether people, when faced with the full weight of their actions, can truly change or if the temptation of wealth and domination is too strong to resist. However, the story takes a twist. The African Kings are pulled 400 years into the future-into the 1800s, where they witness the horrific consequences of their actions. They see the brutal realities of slavery, the suffering of millions, and how their greed has led to the devastation of countless lives. They meet people enslaved on plantations, freedom fighters, abolitionists, and others whose existence has been shaped by the decisions of their ancestors. ⏰May 2nd: 10am ( school showing) ⏰May 3rd: 2pm (public showing) 📍Location: APC Theater (11401 S Vincennes, Chicago, IL Tickets at richardgallion.com or send me a DM ✨ #richardgallionent #explore #explorer #chicago #livetheatre #best #1400vs1800 #blackhistory #1800vs2020 #apctheater
