I have very few regrets in life. Maybe 3

Not serving in the military is one of them.

Similarly, I thought I was too young to have a “bucket list”. (Alas, I’m not)

To visit Normandy, with our children, so they carry the deepest understanding of service, sacrifice, courage and camaraderie became a goal a few years ago. @4giantsfans supported the dream.

To visit even close to D-Day, was accidental design. It just fit in our trip neat.

We learned - little was ‘neat’ for Operations Neptune and Overlord.

The raw awesomeness left us quiet, reflective and near speechless. The overcast weather re-created the eerie conditions of June 5 and 6.

Our guide - Sabrina - was magnifique. Absolutely elegant, respectful and informative.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to visit this hallowed place (esp with gen 3). Thanks only seconded in magnitude to that for those who’ve served, and defended our beloved freedoms.

Courage. Grace. Resilience. Faith. Hope. Family. Laughter. They’re all HER superpowers.

It’s been a long, winding journey - and whoever coined the phrase “No Bad Days” is totally FOS!!!

Life is about how you deal with the curveballs, bumps and unexpected moments. But sometimes, you’re not fully prepared for the info. Prayer fills the gap.

2 summers ago, we were stunned to discover her diagnosis. But with an INCREDIBLE health team, including @ashutoshraina, we dug in and got answers. Lots of tests. Lots of hoping.

Through it all, Ev has shown a fierce determination to learn, stay healthy, expand her interests and activities and win the battles! We are so proud of her.

We’ve shared the info with those who shown interest and care. Her teachers and coaches & friends are dear and cherished.

Our family got the opportunity this week to celebrate a BIG WIN! It was a fun, unscripted circle of love, showered on a girl who amazes us every day 🤩

We remain hopeful she continues on a path of health, healing, learning and joy. Thanks to those who prayed for our baby, we’ve felt the love & support🙏🏽❤️- it’s working
