September was STACKED! 😮‍💨🔥

If our page has been a little quiet and pageant practices slowed down a bit, trust us… it wasn’t because we weren’t BUSY! 😂

September had our titleholders and team booked, busy, working, celebrating, creating, showing up in the community, handling business, chasing goals, and making moves both professionally and personally. 👑✨

Sometimes life outside of pageantry gets BUSY — and we love seeing our people WIN in every part of their lives. ❤️

Because being a titleholder is part of the journey, not the whole journey.

So just because we’re not always HERE… doesn’t mean we’re not out THERE. 😉

September was productive. September was busy. September was STACKED.

And through it all, nothing but love and support for our Pitbull Empire family. 🫶🏽👑

Now… hello, October. We’ve got some catching up to do. 😏🔥

My happy place is hide work🫎🤎

So overjoyed with the hide workers of Native Movement’s organizer camp. We worked on softening 3 hides; braining one together, scraping all of them, twisting all of them, and completing one.

We shared creation stories and visions for our world✨

Ultimate favorite when there’s enough participants: tossing people in the hide to help it soften 💕

There’s something special about being in a room filled with artists, creatives, performers, singers, and actors.

The energy just hits different. It makes you want to create, dream, and tap into that side of yourself.

So when Becca invited us to celebrate one year of Breaking Wave Theater Company’s creative space, there was no question, we were showing up.

Guam’s creative community is special. They create because they love it, and they continue finding ways to bring art, culture, and storytelling to an island that needs more spaces for all of it.

Congratulations, Becca and the entire BWTC family, on one year in your space. We’ll keep showing up whenever we can, because the arts deserve an audience, and our artists deserve our support.

Here’s to more creating, more storytelling, and more spaces where Guam’s creativity can thrive.
