Always better with gardens 🌱

There’s nothing like a black homes backdrop to set off beautiful garden texture!

The airy structure and movement of these mostly ornamental grass gardens offer the perfect antidote for this contemporary homes stark exterior.

I love the way the concrete wall hides the gardens partially when arriving at the home, but then as you enter towards the front door the rest of the garden is revealed 🙌

Grasses shown are Karl Foerster at the back with Blonde Ambition grama grass at the front, but there’s also Little Bluestem, Prairie Dropseed here and some sporadic perennials like Grey headed Coneflower that pop up here and there throughout the season.

More collaboration to come with this amazing client (with great taste) at her next home!

What do you think? Do all homes look better with gardens?
