Last week, we held our annual Bandier Spring Mixer! While we spend a lot of time together in the classroom, it is always exciting when all cohorts can get together outside of it and spend quality time. The energy in the room was electric, and a great reminder of why Bandier is such a unique and vibrant community.

This past summer, our Bandier students took the time to gain work experience by interning all over the industry! From publishing giants like Reservoir Media, iconic labels like RCA Records, heavyweight agencies like CAA, world-famous venues like Madison Square Garden, and more, our students gained invaluable experience and education from their internships. All Bandier students fulfill a minimum of three internship requirements which allows them to gain a breadth of experience across the industry. Check out some of the internships our students did!

#rezakrecap “You should excel at being uncomfortable all the time.” In Wednesday’s Rezak Lecture we had the privilege of welcoming CEO and Founder of Reservoir, Golnar Khosrowshahi. Khosrowshahi regularly appears as one of Billboard’s power players and most powerful female executives. Under her leadership Reservoir has grown to own and administer over 150,000 copyrights and 36,000 masters. Additionally, her company masterminded the retrieval and return of De La Soul’s master recordings. She walked us through her journey in the industry highlighting key maneuvers she took to further her career. She placed emphasis on the importance of progress and trying new things, explaining that once you’re comfortable it’s time to recommit to risk. Thank you so much for joining us Golnar!
