We (minus 1) made the 17 hour trip to Iowa for Senior Day and they got their first non conference win in 6 years. I'm going to say it was because I was here 😆. Congratulations, Pooh Bear!! Oh, he was also an honorary Captain for the game and yes, the lovely young lady with us is his girlfriend, Jayda- not his sister as the announcer mistakenly said lol

Yes, I'm late posting this, but any whooo.... Pooh Bear and my face went back to Iowa on last week to start his "Senior" year. He'll still have one more semester to go next fall due to the one he missed due to Chrons. I'm sending protection, wisdom, strength, peace and joy to him and declare that he will have a healthy, triumphant, prosperous and fullifilling year. I hope we will be able to make it to his senior game in September. But if not, I will be cheering him on through the screen for that and every game. Keep being great, Pooh. We love you.

And just like that, Track season/career is over. It has been a fun run since 7th grade to senior year. Not quite the way we wanted to end this ride, but we are so proud of our scholar athlete. Now to focus on healing so she can walk across that stage in May and start the next leg of her journey.
