Thank you 2026 Blue Devils Percussion,
Thank you for giving me a place I can call home for years. Thank you for creating a space where I can be my authentic self. Thank you for giving me a family I will never forget and always be bonded to. Thank you for giving me unforgettable memories that will be cherished in every corner of my heart and soul. Thank you for giving me a sense of purpose. Thank you for all the amazing staff that supported me and that I could rely on. Thank you to the 2026 percussion section for everything, including being the closest battery and front ensemble I have been a part of. You guys have become siblings to me… people I can rely on forever. Thank you for creating a magical place. There’s simply not enough words to explain how much I love the people that has welcomed me, allowed me to grow, and given me more than I could’ve ever imagined.

Aged out.

Thank you for everyone who’s been there for and supported my journey with my home and my family. The Blue Devils and its staff, members, and alumni changed my life for the better. I’m grateful to be who I am today because of them, and though the final goodbye is bittersweet I am honored to take what I’ve been given and move forward confidently in life.

Thank you for everything.

I’m thinking the only way to get AI out of DCI is to shoot everything on film.

Here are some drum corps photographs on 120 and 35mm from the past couple of years.

If I had a sponsor for film developing and scanning, I’d shoot an entire season on film.
