🌟 2024 Gear Girls Recap 🌟

Together, we hiked, biked, snowshoed, and cross-country skied an incredible 1,217 miles across 51 outings 🚲⛷️🥾

Our commitment to giving back was stronger than ever:
⚒️ 6 stewardship projects improving 7+ miles of trail infrastructure.
🕒 167 volunteer hours dedicated to our trails and community.

And most importantly, we had the privilege of serving 77 girls and their families, creating a supportive and inspiring community on and off the trails 🎉

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our parents, volunteers, partners, and sponsors. Thank you for believing in our mission and empowering the next generation of girls on the trail ❤️

A special thank you to the following supporters:

@phoestivus was great! Wrapped up my Christmas shopping and saw some old friends. Loved the creativity at the @venturecafephoenix hackathon. Set a new PR on N. Mtn.

Who goes to Arizona in July!?! These crazy cats who came to soak up the summer fun in the shade...playing in the pool primarily and loving the playtime with all the cousins 🥰

1. Too much fun with these cuties together
2. Homemade pizza 👨‍🍳
3. Uncle Nick knows how to do it best 🍕 A 900 degree oven doesn’t feel so hot when it’s already 100 outside!
4. Ninja turtle spotting in Jerome
5. Madera Canyon camping. Hard to lounge by a creek in the shade all day when you’re this adventurous!
6. Quality time with Aunty Mallika, Elliott’s Godmother 💖
7. Aunty Mallika foraging some wild apples for us 🍏
8. He found his own slide rock
9. Djeda’s little helper!
10. Somehow Grammy was able to successfully read him to sleep for nap time. Tuckered out from so much fun!!

Wrapped up our weekly adventures with bike olympics (thanks @aztgeargirls for the inspiration!) — complete with Spidey bike laps, a plunger + hula hoop challenge (thanks @bensbikesaz for that idea!), and tube, tire and bike toss component! AND books from our friend @rodowrites AND cupcakes! SO FUN!

So much gratitude. Thank you to so many and a huge shout out to coaches @shimnandezula and @smile.y.riley for spending time with us! We ❤️ you!

We had our final Thursday adventure of this 6-week session (😳 time flies… full adventure share to come….) and this portion of our time post-ride deserves a special mention ❤️🙏🏼❤️

THANK YOU @rodowrites for our autographed books! We LOVE them and were making plans to take them to school and share with our parents! 🎉👌🏼⭐️ It was super special to get our books under the same tree @tashaadamspontifex taught us about maintaining the #AZT 👍🏼🎉 We rode the section we worked on a few weeks ago! The book paired well with the yummy grapes we had 🤣🍇

Thank you again Rodo for taking the time to insert a personal message! We are so grateful! 🫶🏼❤️🫶🏼
