JX here….today is a big day, the latest music from some of my absolute favorite humans has dropped. Heavy, raw, unfiltered and just MEAN jams in the vein of bands like Great Falls, Kowloon Walled City, & Trap Them…I cannot recommend the debut EP by @tfomband strongly enough.
Featuring members of a who’s who of North Carolina heavy music (Bloodjinn, Killwhitneydead, Quell, Visitors) this is 6 tracks of heavy awesomeness!
Check it out today!

Happy to announce that our album finally drops next Friday the 9th!

This album was recorded by members of Bloodjinn jamming in a room together, NO A.I. , NO backing tracks, just real people doing real things. All the mistakes and triumphs left in, because those things are Human.

I posted this one in honor of @cee_murder927 on his name day, but posting again now on this dedicated Selfies Project account.

He would be raging with all of us against this fascism, channeling the anger into music..thunderous drums and brash cymbal clashes, double pedals of angst and fury.

Quell brought a group of us together in NC as musicians and fans. Ours was a collective cacophonous scream against authoritarian abuse, but also for friendship... channeling energy and creativity for community. And hell, just for a necessary release towards some semblance of sanity. At least that's how it felt to me.

Quell's last show in 2022 was the last time we would all be together before we lost him.

...

I had a dream about Carlos a few nights ago. I woke up with a deep suffocating gasp, sweaty and confused. Maybe I'm remembering that the world isn't right, especially without him, and sometimes it still squeezes my heart so much so that I lose my breath.
