𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 hosted by @gardenhousedesign @thebbqmag at @the.glasshouse.collective 💐

A recap from last month’s Long Table event. A truly magical day, with delicious food provided by Michelin star chef @delportjean from @interludesussex - So much planning went into creating this special event (mini bouquets, fresh flower arranging, seating & table design to name a few). Many thanks also to @nkukulife for the glassware & cutlery they provided for the table-scaping for the event.

It’s 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 - Dedicated to Holly Summer - the love of mine and Rod’s life ❤️

Growing up with two self driven business owner parents is both challenging and hopefully inspiring. Being brought up around flower shows to some extent means our dear Holly, a flower child in the truest sense of the expression, has been with us from the beginning. It’s in her blood to work hard, and what we have exposed her to in her formative years is certainly a life of living outdoors.

Here are some photos from our Hampton Court and Chelsea visits back in the day {omg she’s going to kill us!} exploring the gardens & our own trade stands, and discovering the beauty of the natural world together. She’s supported us in every crazy adventure and idea…often making us stop in our tracks at her maturity and strength when tough decisions and long hours need to be done.

Now 24, we’re so proud of the woman she has become, not following in our footsteps of owning a business just yet, {although secretly we know that will change}, and carving out a career for herself, with her home being filled with beautiful objects from her travels, and she’s always most happiest living outdoors just like us. This post is dedicated to you, our darling. We love you to the beach and back xox

International Happiness at Work Week – made easier when you work with fabulous people that put themselves out for others, are passionate at what they do, and are always up for a LAUGH which makes worklife great.

They are probably going to kill us sharing the “secret photo file” but hey it’s all about happiness and the Creative Director is away so let’s go for it!

Hope everyone feels happy at work today

DEBS LOVES - Behind the scenes of The Long Table!🌸🥂✨

So much planning, decorating, styling and re-styling goes into these big events. But we love it! We wanted to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for The Long Table. The Glasshouse Collective was the perfect setting for making so many people feel comfortable- and what an amazing place to make new friends!

Even down to the small details, like creating a mini-bouquet of fresh flowers for each guest was the perfect finishing touch to our table setting.

Long Table Event at Glasshouse 🌱

What a fantastic day holding our Long Table Networking Event, co-hosting with @thebbqmag at The Glasshouse Collective, Chobham. Our idea to invite a carefully selected guest list from different industries all with the common vision of living outdoors across hotels, restaurants, private venues, sports arenas and of course into private individuals homes was a huge success.

Of course the venue speaks for itself, and is our happy place where we have lots of our outdoor products on permanent display. Brought together with our host chef @DelportJean from the interlude restaurant based at Leonardslee Gardens, West Sussex, cooking a delicious menu all on open fire using our new Kasai charcoal bbqs under our Algarve.

Beautiful details added to the 12m Long Table, personalised and styled as only GHD do. With inspiring conversations flowing throughout the day and lots of new friends made!

The dynamic duo back in action again. September brings new life to our work activities 🪴 We relish this time of the year where we can get back into the groove after a joy filled summer and refocus our attention to devoting ourselves to designing great outdoor spaces.

This month we are hosting a private event at @the.glasshouse.collective with friends David & Rupert from The BBQ Magazine and hosting a group of innovative industry leaders, all with a common love of living outdoors, to explore opportunities together, making new connections and preparing for awesome months ahead of collaboration. There will delicious food cooked outdoors of course and dressing to match in the beautiful Glasshouse in true debs style glam.
