Metamorphika presents
DEVILS IN DETAILS
FALLACY OF FLYING
‘30th February, 1956’

Co-curated by @marinateodora

“Devils in Details” is a drawing series by @pc.paramo staging fallacies of thought: Gambler’s Fallacy, Hot Hand Fallacy, Exaggeration, Suppressed Evidence, Anecdotal Fallacy, Argument from Silence, Smoke Screen, and Strawman.

Through allegories of demonic possession, the series explores manipulative logic and cognitive distortion. Flying figures of death & the maiden haunt the works—grotesque, brooding, and reminiscent of Goya’s Sleep of Reason and The Way of Flying.

Pc Paramo’s Fallacies portray the descent into madness—born from existential confusion and corrupted thought.

Laboranta & Fung Neo embody a pitfall of removed gravity—suspended between flying and falling, freedom and collapse. A mindless manoeuvre into a wingless flight of fancy.

Alongside this is Charlie Jimenez’s new photo series “Body and Bardo” — a meditation on the soul’s transit between life and death. Fleeting, liminal, and suspended in judgment, these images linger like dying dreams—haunting and beautiful.
