Vamos Venezuela! 🇻🇪

I was able to see @helpingchildreninvenezuela put their years of work into action this past week when more donations and volunteers than they could have imagined showed up to bring help to Venezuelans following twin 7.2 and 7.5 earthquakes that devastated cities in the country.

Many of the people I spoke with were from Venezuela themselves. Some of them had family and friends still missing.

Speaking with Claudia, who runs the nonprofit, she acknowledged a hard truth about all of this help.

It’s amazing to see everyone show up, but the impact and need from Venezuelans will live on for much longer following this natural disaster.

Solo el pueblo salva al pueblo. 🇻🇪❤️

The humanitarian aid effort led by Los Angeles’ Venezuelan community this week has been a love letter to Venezuela.

Not written with words, but with helping hands. With heavy boxes, tired backs, and a community united by compassion.

Every donation, every volunteer, and every act of kindness became a reminder that hope is built together. That even thousands of miles from home, Venezuela is never forgotten.

In moments of unimaginable loss, a community answered with love.

Con amor, de Los Ángeles para Venezuela. 🇻🇪
