POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thousands of people...probably far more...are speaking out against Meta's policies on child exploitation and animal abuse content. Yet Meta and Instagram seem to be the only ones that don't see the problem.

If a post is so disturbing that it gets hidden from teenagers, that alone proves it violates basic safety standards.

But removing it? Apparently that's too much to ask. This platform keeps allowing graphic cruelty to circulate while those trying to protect children and animals are ignored, restricted or silenced.

This isn't a glitch. It's a failure.

NON STOP WORK

You push through endless cases files why fake accounts multiply in the background, each one designed to distract distort,or derail.

There's no oversight,no protection...just a system that looks away until looking away becomes impossible. And when you finally hold the truth in your hands,it doesn't get welcomed.
It gets stamped,filtered,delayed,denied,
censored. Because the moment truth threatens power, the process becomes the weapon.

And then comes the part no one wants to admit: the scale of justice isn't neutral.
On one site, a case file built on evidence, time, and integrity.
On the other,a stack of money...influence,connections interests.
And the scale doesn't hesitate.
It drops.Every.Single.Time.

This isn't disorder.
This isn't incompetence.
This is how the system designed.

A street dog looks alive.
A "rescued"dog looks defeated.
Funny how the system calls it safety.

In Uganda, when a dog looks healthier on the street than in a shelter, that's not rescue...that's failure dressed up as help.

But sure...let's keep pretending everything is fine.

What's happening to animals in Uganda is not visible world wide.
It's systematic neglect, enabled by silence, inaction and broken oversight.

They show you pain.
You send money.
And the cycle continues.

The suffering is real.
The wounds are real.
But the story behind them?
Twisted recycled,monetized.

Every donation keeps the scam alive.
Every share without context feeds the machine.

It's not kindness.
It's fuel.

Look at their faces.
Not one of them is "fine".
Not one of them is "safe".
Not one of them is "thriving".

This is what neglect looks like.
Not the stories.
Not the excuses.
The animals.

Eyes that should be curious.
Bodies that should be relaxed.
Lives that should be protected.

If you want to know the truth, don't listen to the noise.
Look at the animals.
They never lie.

If you want to help ,help the ones who
are actually doing the work.
Not the ones creating the damage.

Instagram is quietly limiting activism.
This message pops up when you comment, post, or engage “too much.”
Not because you broke rules — but because you’re *too active*.

They call it “protecting the community.”
We call it **silencing grassroots voices**.

If you’ve seen this warning: you’re not alone.
If you haven’t: it’s coming.

Another election.
Another term for the same leadership.
And for many children and animals in Uganda,it doesn't feel like a new beginning...it feels like more of the same struggle.

While the world sees headlines and celebrations the reality on the ground doesn't change for those who have the least protection.
Children continue to grow up in systems where hardship, limited access to education, and and lack of safety shape their daily lives.
Animals continue to suffer in places where welfare laws are weak, enforcement is inconsistent, and exploitation often goes unseen.

This post isn't about politics.
It's about the ones who cannot choose their future.

Leadership should protect the vulnerable. It should create safety, opportunity, and compassion. But when nothing changes for those at the bottom.

For the children who deserve a safe childhood.
For the animals who deserve care instead of neglect.
For every life that depends on decisions they never get to make.

We keep speaking.
We keep showing the truth.
We keep hoping for better...because they cannot afford for us to stay silent.

We scroll. We swipe. We connect.
Meta calls it "community".
We call it captivity with filters.

They build the future of connection...but forget the humans they claim to serve.
No warmth. No nuance. Just metrics.

They optimize for engagement,not empathy.
For reach,not repair.
And the world?
It doesn't get better.
It just gets busier.

And somewhere beneath all those layers of algorithms, one longing remains: We want the human back.

But here's the quiet truth:
You can always turn it off.
No drama No algorithm. Just choice.

Everyone says,"If you see animal abuse report it". But what if the button you're supposed to press...doesn't actually exist?

That's what online reporting often feels like:a system that looks official ,looks functional, looks responsibility...until you try to use it.

Then suddenly the button is painted on.
The help is symbolic.
The urgency is optional.
And the responsibility quietly shifts back to the person who tried to do the right thing.

Animals don't need symbolic buttons.
They need real action, real moderation, real accountability.
If platforms can build tools to boost engagement, they can build tools to protect the vulnerable.

They just have to choose to!!!

Username removed — I follow the guidelines Instagram doesn’t enforce.

I keep reporting clear cases of animal abuse on Instagram.
Sometimes content from the *same account* gets removed, but most of the time I receive messages like this saying it ‘doesn’t violate the guidelines’.
It’s exhausting. Reporting starts to feel pointless.

Instagram should review its own guidelines — and actually enforce them.
Animal abuse should never stay online.
