Route 66 Vinita Fit PL Meet ✅
The best feeling is when I get the opportunity to go in front of our lifting community and display the fruits of my training. This morning I was able to break my previous total by 80lbs.

Thank you to Vinita Family Fitness for giving us the opportunity to compete! Thank you to all the staff who helped make this meet possible! Lastly, thank you to all the competitors who competed this morning, I absolutely loved being able to watch y’all show out!

Unfortunately, I didn’t win the meet, but that was never my intention! I went out there with one goal in mind, that was to do better than I did last meet! 📈

BW: 195lbs
S: 410lbs
B: 230lbs
DL: 415lbs
T: 1,055lbs
Previous total: 975lbs

(Disclaimer: She was talking about the smelling salts.)

First, I want to give flowers to everyone who made this meet special: the lifters who competed, the volunteers, the judges, the spotters/loaders, everyone who came out to support, and most importantly, my friends who showed up for me. I had Alex and Kylie helping me with loading the weights, recording my attempts, giving advice, and cheering me on. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I truly feel beyond blessed to be part of a community that is so supportive, encouraging, and uplifting.

A special shoutout to everyone who stepped onto the platform for the first time, including myself. I know how intimidating that first meet can be, and I'm incredibly proud of every single one of you for having the courage to show up and compete.

There will be days when you miss a lift or go three-for-three on red lights, and it can be frustrating. But don't let those moments define you. A missed lift is not failure; it's feedback. It's an opportunity to learn, grow, and come back stronger.

Keep showing up. Keep believing in yourself. Keep chasing progress. This community is something special, and I'm grateful to be a part of it.

To say I am honored doesn’t even cut it! Tonight I attended the Northeastern Student Government Banquet and was awarded “Freshman Senator of the Year” and my Fiscal Affairs Committee was awarded “Committee of the Year”! Last fall, I reluctantly decided to campaign for a freshman senator seat on the NSU student government, and I was so nervous when I was actually sworn in! Through all the crazy weeks of what seemed like endless fiscal affairs interviews, we still found the joy in it all by getting to know people from all sorts of different clubs/orgs from all walks of life! I feel so grateful to be the 2025-2026 freshman senator of the year, and to be a member of such an incredible committee. Thank you to everyone who has supported me!! I am honored to be a small part in such a prestigious organization! Congratulations to our 2026/2027 president and vice on your inauguration! Go Hawks 👩‍⚖️🦅

With Aprils meet just around the corner this week was heavy singles week and a few of our members were able to record their bench sets on Tuesday. This is just a small portion of what goes on behind those barbells, as our main goal here at NSUPL is to build an environment for all.

Here’s a glimpse of what our heavy singles week bench day looked like…
