One for the roads still crazy that we all met at Tomorrowland last year from all over the world and somehow we all ended up here again together this year

Same place, more people, more memories

To the new friends I made this year, I will see you somewhere across the globe real soon

@lowedxb a 4 time green @michelinguide homegrown dining concept in Dubai offering a contemporary and experimental approach to cooking, with seasonal produce prepared naturally over fire. Its open kitchen, centred around a charcoal grill, rotisserie, and wood-fired oven, gives the restaurant a relaxed and approachable feel.

We opted for the tasting menu, which took us through a creative selection of dishes combining traditional techniques with unexpected flavours.

We started with Local Oysters with onion and shiso granita, followed by the King Crab Crumpet with hot tomato butter. The Beef Tartare with gochujang, soft onions, smoked cream, and potato chips followed and was enjoyable.

We continued with Anchovy, hot & sour eggplant and Zuni tzatziki, followed by the Burnt Tomato Salad with cucumber, popped barley, radish, and yuzu. The Spinach & White Shrimp Ravioli with basil, pistachio, and fish bone velouté brought a richer and more delicate element to the menu.

The Grilled Market Fish with caper & olive sofrito and anchovy greens was followed by the Wood Roasted Chicken with BBQ hearts, umami butter, and coconut sambal. We then had the Oyster Blade with black pepper relish, smoked tallow, and carrot moutabel.

To finish, the Burnt Bread with sesame jam, milk chocolate, and blackcurrant offered an interesting combination of sweet, savoury, and fruity flavours.

🌟 Highlights
The dessert was delicious!

✖️ Letdown
The Grilled Market Fish was overly acidic due to the sauce. The portion sizes were also on the smaller side, especially for the vegetarian tasting menu.

💸 Price
Reasonably priced for a “fine dining” tasting menu. The relaxed setting makes LOWE feel very approachable, while the portion sizes are also reflected in the price.

Dubai will forever be one of the most defining chapters of my life. I came here as a girlfriend and I’m leaving as a fiancée💍, engaged to my best friend who has been my rock through all the highs, lows and everything in between.

We traveled the world from this little home base in what felt like the hottest city in the world, challenging ourselves in ways we never imagined we could. We grew individually and together, learning what it means to choose each other every day while also choosing the lives we want to build.

Then there were the people, the connections that turned a foreign place into a home. The kind of people who make goodbye feel a little heavier 💕

As we close this chapter, my heart is so full! I’m so grateful for the lessons, love, growth, clarity and for every person who made this crazy adventure unforgettable.

Yallah habibis, onto the next chapter ❤️

There was something so special about this wedding. Every detail felt intentional and the people made it feel like one big love story. I had never been to Bali before but celebrating @celinelinarte and @hanryphung was the perfect reason to go. Being surrounded by so much love, from the couple and everyone there, made it unforgettable. Congratulations to two amazing humans who brought their dream to life.

P.S. Add Bali to your wedding moodboard. This destination is truly worth it! 💍 #bali #ayanaresortbali #destinationwedding #indonesia
