POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Delighted that the Irish Daily Mail carried a double page spread on Waking Maeve in their Saturday Edition. I wrote about several of the topics covered in Waking Maeve, the figure of Queen Maeve of Connacht, the origins of the legend of her being buried under Meascan Méadhbha on Knocknarea, WB Yeats, Eoghan Bell and the history of Sligo Town.
And thanks your continued support and kind message regarding the book. Best place to get yourself a copy is Amazon for now (link in bio). But edition #2 is landing early November. So stay tuned for updates 🙏🤙🏽🪶 #irishdailymail #wakingmaeve #sligo

Friday showcase gigs at @irelandmusicweek for @thethinair

Lots more familiar favs of mine on day 2 of IMW's showcase gigs including Adore, Sei Green and KiiKO. But on this day I specifically focused on shooting new acts that I hadn't seen before and I was absolutely blown away. Highlights included Mount Pyrus, Eppie, Roisín Gowen, Mickey Chaos, No Photos and Rua Rí. It was also class to finally catch Kadillac (Kev) live - we went to college together so it's great to see him killing it up on stage. Overall, it was a great two days of gigs, Irish music is truly the best in the world and I'm so grateful to be able to document this scene!

⚡ARRIVALS SATURDAY OCTOBER 17th

ROISÍN GOWEN
Sat 17 Oct, 2pm | Liber Bookshop | FREE

Roisín Gowen is an emerging Irish songwriter with a distinctive live presence, commanding voice, and personal songs. Roisín's debut alt-folk album 'Out Of Grief, Into The Garden' is a 9-track intimate, acoustic-centred record that deals with the process of finding peace after loss, holding both a heavy heart and gentle spirit through stories of reflection.

OSCAR BLUE
Sat 17 Oct, 3pm | Lyons Cafe | FREE

Oscar Blue is an independent Irish singer-songwriter whose cinematic folk-rock songs find meaning in ordinary lives and human connection. A social care worker by day, he turns lived experiences into honest storytelling and soaring soundscapes. With over 20 million streams and sold-out headline shows across the UK and Ireland, his debut album Birds in Winter, released in April 2026, explores love, loss and the search for light in everyday life.

LŌWLI

Who would've guessed that saying yes to gigs meant I had to do em.

If you want to see me between now and mid-November, you now know where I am.

If it's not apparent, I'll be playing Double-Bass on all these gigs (except for the @grain.neog gigs where I won't be doing that).

Shout-out to the lovely people paying my bills these next few months, tagged above.

Anybody know a good physio?
