Live interactive art installation by @inara29 @anzareeen
At @hrossho.i
In the event Sultana's Dreams: Shimahin prithibi by @asha.collective
Photos by @book_o_noia

We gathered here to process, to move through sorrow & rage, to remember; to write our own stories into the narratives of our nations; to celebrate existing with/in our bodies & borders; to grieve & dream together through sound, through movement; to reclaim our senses as tools of resistance. When public & private spaces have excluded & overlooked our bodies for too long — we know we must make our own.

A small glimpse of art installation from Sultana's Dreams : Shimahin prithibi.
Thank you @hrossho.i for creating this beautiful space for all the artists. Our exhibition theme was Bangladeshi womanhood.

Thank you to the incredible team for crafting this Bangladeshi femme-led multimedia space where everyone—no matter their craft, identity, or journey—is welcomed to grieve, dream, and imagine different futures together. Your vision is not just an event; it's a profound act of resistance and collective healing.

$REGISTER IN BIO 🌟 1ST AUGUST 🌞 We invite you to Sultana’s Dream(s): Shimahin Prithibi, a Bangladeshi femme-led multimedia space for multidisciplinary art installations, performances, an open mic, & ambient soundscapes, and part of our ongoing project on envisioning, embodying, & exploring interactive, sonic, visual, and somatic experiences of Bangladeshi femme futurisms where we cultivate care & connection in a fractured world, body, & country. OPEN TO ALL ❤️‍🔥 For the open mic however, only those connected with Bangladeshi womanhood are prioritised & encouraged! What worlds & dreams are within you? How do we (re)connect with our bodies in a country that does not value our bodies? We gather to process, to move through sorrow & rage, to remember; to write our own stories into the narratives of our nations; to celebrate existing with/in our bodies & borders; to grieve & dream together through sound, through movement; to reclaim our senses as tools of resistance. When public & private spaces have excluded & overlooked our bodies for too long — we know we must make our own. We welcome those who have felt fragmented, invisibilized, alienated, & everyone across all crafts, disciplines, identities to join us in collectively imagining different futures for Bangladesh & beyond 🪷 May we return to all the possibilities, heritages, futures, & worlds waiting within us. See you there? 🦋 250 BDT / PAY WHAT YOU CAN ❣️ ART BY @datak1ss ❣️ CALLIGRAPHY BY @sayeeda_sofia$
