Some more photos from what I am naming the @goodideagames board game retreat at @tabletopinnmarion ! Speaking of @goodideagames In these photos you'll see "Alitania","Footy Dice", and a crowd shot of "Honor Among Thieves" which are three more of their games that we got a peek at and a chance to play! Alitania was played by flashlight as a storm took down a power line! I'm very much looking forward to Alitanias development as it was a blast! Even though I lost 11 rolls in a row to @boardgame_therapist 😂 Some other photos here are just some of the things you can expect from @tabletopinnmarion #boardgames #boardgame #gamenight

⚔️ Dice Clash (2025) This is my favourite of the four games from the Mint Tin (Galen’s Games) series that I’ve had the pleasure of playing. 👍 It reminds me of simple games from my childhood. 👍 It takes up little shelf space and fits in a pocket. 👍 Dice Clash! 👍 I like the speed and dynamics of this game. 👍 It doesn’t contain a lot of small pieces that can be lost. An interesting game concept that I also hope to see in the expanded version. 😉 💡 Game Type: Family 🧩Theme: Fighting 🕒 Play time: 15-20 min 🤖 Mechanism: Die Icon Resolution, Solitaire 👥Number of Players: 1-2 🧠 Difficulty: easy 🗓️ Age: +10 🤔 Designer: Jonathan Carnehl, Galen McCown, Ryan Sromek 🎨 Artist: H.S. Law 🖨️Publisher: @galensgames 🎯 My rating: 8.4/10 #boardgames #sologaming #boardgaming #tabletopgaming #sologameplay #letsplay #playingsolo #familygames #gryplanszowe #homeschoolingideas #mentalhealth #soloboardgames #parenthood #boardgamesfortwo #autism #autismactivities #anxietyactivities #macrophotography #boardgamesart #planszówki #parenthood_moments #parenthood

KAIJU CLAWS OUT! ✊🏽 What an honor to receive the prototype for Kaiju K.O. by @pigeon.plays to try out this week, RIGHT before their kickstarter release on Thursday! ✨ If you're chaotic like me and enjoy games where every round feels like a mini battle royale, you've got the right two-player with Kaiju K.O. The pieces are thoughtfully designed and the power-ups are creative in a way that can change up the whole gameplay. Which is good, considering I typically rely on last-minute comebacks in this style of gameplay. 😅 It scratches a similar itch to games like King of Tokyo, where chaos and combat are charming with monsters - but make it Kaiju chess with powers! 🦖 Stay tuned for Thursday's kickstarter release! And for today’s #TopicTuesday🎲 on used games, my answer is ALWAYS yes. This game felt like the fun middle ground: a brand-new prototype that’s already been enjoyed by other gaming creators like @achunkeemunkee and @rollpasa, and now making its way to my table. If it’s new to you but lovingly played by others, it’s like giving a game a whole new lifecycle to enjoy. 💗 I love both rehoming games so they can be fully appreciated anew and hunting for used treasures on Marketplace, at conventions, in local game stores, and beyond. No discrimination here, new and old games are always welcome on these shelves. 🎲✨
