Some of my favorite photographs happen because I decided not to direct anything. At this wedding at La Jolla Country Club, the second the ceremony ended and this couple walked back down the aisle as newlyweds, I could feel the entire room shift, cheering, hands in the air, everyone on their feet at once. My instinct in a moment like that is not to jump onto the next event scheduled to happen. It is to read the room, find the best angle, and let it happen exactly as it wants to. This is something I think about at every wedding, not just the big scripted moments. Weddings are full of instants that only exist for a second, a guest's reaction the moment a couple is announced as married, a parent wiping their eyes, a whole room erupting at once. My job is to notice when one of these moments is about to happen and position myself to catch it, without ever stepping into it and changing what it would have been anyway. That kind of attentiveness is not something I can plan for in advance. It comes from staying present and paying close attention all day long, so nothing catches me off guard when it matters. If you want a wedding day photographed by someone who notices these moments instead of manufacturing them, I would love to be part of your celebration at La Jolla Country Club or anywhere in San Diego. A beautiful moment of two cultures coming together 🤍 For this Iraqi + Egyptian wedding, the groom’s family visited the bride’s home on the morning of the wedding, bringing gifts for her before she began her journey to the ceremony. A beautiful tradition and such a meaningful way to honor the bride and both families before the day officially begins 🫶🏻 Coordination @eventsbyvanessaco Photography & Videography @roodizuhairfilms Content @viv.hana_socials Hair & Makeup @allenfared Dress @zuhairmuradmariage Home Decor @esraa_amjad Catering @dreamfountaincatering DJ & Entertainment @dj.ronyy Rentals @star_light_sd Florals @ombrefloraldesigns Zaffa @fusionzaffa Limo @rollslivery Venue @hyattregencylajolla Couple @_clarasaleem @karsxu #weddingcontent #weddinginspiration #wedding #weddingstyle #weddingday

I don’t think I’ll ever stop getting emotional when a vision becomes reality🌸 This shoot challenged me creatively, reminded me why I love this industry, and gave me the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented vendors I know. I’m so proud of what we created together. Every flower, every table setting, every portrait, every tiny detail tells a piece of the story we set out to tell. Thank you to everyone who trusted me with this vision. I truly couldn’t have done it without you, and I’m so grateful for every single person who made this day possible. This one will always hold a special place in my heart. 🤍 To my incredible vendor team—you know who you are. Thank you for saying “yes,” for trusting the process, and for pouring your talents into this day. This shoot is as much yours as it is mine. I can’t wait to celebrate each of you as I share more from this gallery over the coming weeks. ✨ Venue | @monseratewinery Creative Directors | @sherrweddings x @unposedpoppies Photo & Video | @sherrweddings Content Creation | @unposedpoppies Florist | @simplicity.blooms H&MU | @jessicanicole_beauty @tildeath.beautyco Dress | @blushingbridesocal Tuxedo | @friartux Rentals | @adorefolklore + @catalogatelier Tablecloth | @creativecoverings Candles | @socalcandlerentals Stationery & Signage | @lilyroeco Cake | @flavorful_sd Cannoli | @the_cannolibar Rolls Royce | @rollslivery Artist | @artbybiancaga Harpist | @alainastarkharp Bar | @open.bar.service Shoes | @dolcevita Robe | @kennedyblueofficial Earrings | @anthropologie Models | @foreverenchantedevents _______ #sandiegowedding #sandiegoweddingphotographer #sandiegoweddings #sandiegoweddingphotography #sandiegoweddingvenue
