🥂 What do you think about making a mocktail instead of a cocktail?

Mocktail Class was a blast at this cozy boutique bar in Haywood County, North Carolina. These tasty herbal concoctions are delicious and all alcohol-free.

Roll Up Herbal Bar is an award-winning, nationally recognized non-alcoholic cocktail lounge located in downtown Waynesville, North Carolina.

• Founder: Master mixologist Sam Kearney, has been honored as the Woman-Owned Business of the Year by the Haywood County Chamber of Commerce.

• Vibe: The cozy, trendy, and inclusive lounge shares a space with local apothecary goods from Golden Bear Alchemy, creating a welcoming community hub that fosters connection and sober-friendly socialization.

• Garden-to-Glass Mocktails: Specializes in scratch-made, complex culinary non-alcoholic cocktails and herbal elixirs using fresh, intentional ingredients with optional adaptogen add-ons.

• Signature Drinks: Notable creations include the Something Spicy (featuring jalapeño, ginger, and pineapple) and seasonal rotations.

• Mobile Bartending: Famous for its mobile bartending services featuring "Herbie"—a customized 1971 vintage VW Bus bar—alongside a compact "Lil' Buddy" bar setup available for private events and weddings across Haywood County, North Carolina.

• Journey: After recovering from major setbacks, including severe flood damage from Hurricane Helene at its original location, celebrated its milestone one-year anniversary in late 2026.

A few snapshots from Day 2 of the SATW 2026 Convention 📸

From conversations about Haywood County’s incredible public lands and the changing world of travel media to Meet the Editors, Media Marketplace, local connections and plenty of Haywood County hospitality along the way.

We wrapped up another full day together at the historic Waynesville Inn, celebrating travel photography and this year’s Bill Muster Award winners.

🎃 TRICK OR TREAT? 🎃

October’s Smutty Book Club is celebrating spooky season with two very different ways to get bewitched.

✨ TREAT: The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling
Witches, an accidental curse, an ex who can’t seem to stay in the past, and cozy rom-com Halloween energy.

🎃 TRICK: Hollow by Karina Halle
A dark, deliciously unhinged Sleepy Hollow retelling with multiple love interests, supernatural danger, and a spice level that has absolutely no interest in being cozy.

So, what kind of Halloween reader are you?

🍬 Give me witchy, funny, and flirty.
🔥 Give me dark, depraved, and headless.

📍 Roll Up Herbal Bar + Golden Bear Alchemy
🗓️ Thursday, October 22nd

Pick your poison and come get spooky with us. Candy not required. Strong opinions about fictional men encouraged.

Well, this is a first. ✨

Smutty Book Club is hosting our very first Meet the Author, and apparently we decided to start with a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author who has published nearly 100 titles. Casual.

@meganhartwritesbooks will be joining us virtually for a live conversation and Q&A about her newest romance, Stormsong.

We’ve been lucky enough to read this dark, gothic slow burn before its October 1 release, exclusively through @gettheoreads . There’s a legendary house full of secrets, a missing manuscript worth a fortune, a heroine sent to steal it, and a reclusive man she was never supposed to love.

One house keeps secrets.
We plan to ask about all of them. ⛈️🎶📚

Join us Wednesday, September 23 at 6:30 PM at Roll Up Herbal Bar + Golden Bear Alchemy.

Swipe to meet Megan and learn more about Stormsong.

Casually reading an exclusive ARC before everyone else and preparing to ask the author all our burning questions live. 💃🏻📚

Stormsong by Megan Hart is a dark, gothic slow-burn romance filled with secrets, deception, obsession, and one house that never forgets.

The book will be available exclusively through TheoReads on Oct 1, but Megan will be joining us virtually for a live conversation and Q&A at our Sept 23 Smutty Book Club meeting.

⛈️Secrets sing. 🎶

LOCATION, LOCATION, TEMPTATION. ✈️📚

September’s Smutty Book Club is going somewhere a little magical, a little romantic, and possibly somewhere the normal rules of time and space do not apply.

This month, choose your destination:

🏚️🕸️ Stormsong by Megan Hart
We have an exclusive ARC for the club, thanks to our friends at @gettheoreads , which means we get to read this one before the rest of the world. 👀

🏢🌃The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston
A magical apartment, two people separated by seven years, and a love story with truly terrible timing.

Two romances. Two impossible circumstances. One month of being emotionally compromised by real estate. 🏡

And yes, we have a little something extra to look forward to: @meganhartwritesbooks will be joining us virtually for an author Q&A! 🎉

📍 Roll Up Herbal Bar
🗓️ Wednesday, September 23rd
🕡 6:30 PM

Pick your destination and come read with us. New faces are always welcome. 💜📚

Thrilled to welcome our dear friend @mookite.dj to the RollUp Collective’s First Friday’s at @rollupherbalbar on 09/04!

Mookite is the multifaceted DJ project of Michael Fox - a massage therapist, husband and father of two starseeds. Named after a moody variety of jasper, Mookite expresses a wide diversity of musical selections, embodying earthly & organic elements as well as otherworldly sound scapes. With the main intention of music and moment as medicine, each set is a journey of energy in motion.

After a decade of attending music festivals and concerts, Michael discovered ecstatic dance which ultimately pushed him to become a DJ. The community aspect and container of safety within e-dance culture helped the dream come alive.
