Terry flying again today on Delta ✈️ August 9, 2024, flight number 898 from Atlanta to Los Angeles. This is my second flight in six weeks, and we’ve had some mechanical delays.

Got halfway off the plane only to realize my wheelchair was nowhere to be found. The pilot was amazing—he went downstairs multiple times to locate it. Turns out, it was on a cart near the airplane, and no one was notified. The pilot decided to keep me on the aircraft since it was easier than retrieving my wheelchair and getting me back on board. The flight crew has been phenomenal. We should be landing at LAX sometime this afternoon.

I can’t wait to see my California family today, and then my northern family in a few days!

Has this ever happened to you? Tamara and I would love to hear your experiences. Comment below! 💬👇
