Leviticus is a supernatural horror romance set in a conservative Australian town where queer love is viewed as sinful and something that must be suppressed.
The story centers on two teenage boys, Naim and Ryan, who gradually fall for each other while living in a community driven by religious extremism and strict ideas of “purity.”
When their relationship is exposed, they are subjected to a horrifying conversion ritual organized by radical religious figures. However, the ceremony unleashes something far more terrifying than guilt or fear a malevolent supernatural force that appears in the form of the person each victim desires most. As a result, the boys find themselves pursued by disturbing and corrupted versions of one another.
As the curse begins to spread, Naim and Ryan must fight to survive while facing isolation, paranoia, and the hostility of the town around them. Blending emotional romance with psychological and supernatural horror, the film transforms love into both a source of comfort and terror. In their attempt to break free from the curse, they are forced to confront not only the entity stalking them, but also the repression, prejudice, and fear that dominate their community.

Leviticus (2026) is an Australian supernatural horror film that delivers a terrifying metaphor for the trauma of conversion therapy. The story follows a teenager named Naim (Joe Bird) who moves to a fundamentalist Christian town with his detached mother, Orleene (Mia Wasikowska). When the community discovers Naim’s secret romantic relationship with his classmate Ryan (Stacy Clausen), the conservative parents force the boys into a traumatic
“deliverance healing” ritual meant to purge them of their sexuality. Instead of an exorcism, the ritual unleashes a parasitic, ghostly entity that stalks the two boys.
The creature manipulates their deepest desires by shapeshifting into the exact likeness of the person they crave most-each other. If either teenager gives in to their romantic or sexual impulses toward this disguise, the monster violently attacks them, effectively turning their love and intimacy into a lethal weapon. The film subverts traditional monster tropes by establishing the religious community and Naim’s mother as the true villains of the story. Ultimately, the shapeshifting monster serves as a physical manifestation of internalized shame, religious trauma, and the isolation forced upon queer youth. Naim and Ryan are left to run for their lives, fighting to survive an entity that uses their own

The Shards (2026), starring Igby Rigney, Homer Gere, Kaia Gerber, Graham Campbell, and Hayes Warner, is a dark coming of age thriller based on Bret Easton Ellis’s novel of the same name. Set in Los Angeles in 1981, the series follows Bret, a privileged high school senior whose carefully constructed world begins to unravel when a mysterious new student arrives at his school, just as a serial killer known as the Trawler begins terrorizing the city.
As paranoia slowly takes over, friendship, obsession, desire, and fear become impossible to separate. Surrounded by privilege, secrets, and the glamorous darkness of 1980s Los Angeles, Bret finds himself questioning how well he truly knows the people closest to him. With its seductive atmosphere, psychological tension, teenage desire, and unsettling sense of danger, The Shards is a haunting portrait of youth and obsession where the scariest things are often hiding behind the people and places that feel most familiar.
