With love
Arantzi

The surfboard snapped back and I forgot rule number one: protect your head and face.

After a two year surf break - just because I’m a warm water surfer - I left any resistance behind and surfed again.

Surfing and I we have a special love & fear relationship.

It’s been a long way, overcoming some unknown fears over the years and lots of pushing myself.

And then there a the moments of joy and rewards!

I think the best I could do two years ago: finally getting private lessons.

In las Terrenas the waves were perfect small for me to get back and overcome the “Schweinehund” (not sure the English translation pigdog 😂)

Just a lovely reminder to all of us: stepping out of your comfort zone is rewarding 🥳

I was very lucky, that the board only stroked my nose when it snapped back. 🙏🏼

Thank you to my friend @romain315 for sharing the waves with me and guiding.

By the way: do you like the color of my face as much as I do? 😂 (did I do it wrong? 🤔)

Thank you @gochiestrella for watching and filming ❤️
