Ahhh…memories. This was an eventful year. March 2020 - May 2020 when the world stopped. But teachers kept going, creating, comforting, entertaining, teaching, and figuring it out as we went.
.
I came across this gem. I got to bring the outside world in. And, I also had the opportunity to contribute to a blog about it! @kristy_andre @evolvinglearner
.
These real friends and acquaintances of mine, rallied for my kids that year. They kept them motivated. They shared those journeys. They inspired. The advised. The played. They laughed. They drew caricatures of them. They brought joy. I’m proud to know these individuals in some sort of capacity. And I’m so grateful for even the short amount of time they gave to bring hope to my little. Thank you. @destineemanzo - @nikkoremigio - @__makoa__ - @soundsofthesoulhealer - no IG - @thesavvyscribbler - @jannell_mac - @romancortez - @julian__araujo

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our space at @stancenationjapan ! This show is crazy… We know it’s quite far from central Tokyo 😂 but you still showed up and supported. So good to see our friends old and new. This event is our last 2025 event for Japan, but we’ll be back soon!

It’s been an amazing summer of events at our Venice studio!

We have a banger of an event planned to close out the year! Will we drop something special? You’ll have to wait and see.

GARAGE☆LIFE!

We trust you all enjoyed the open days at Kaido House Garage in Venice last week! Thank you all for visiting us, and we’re sure many, if not all of you, found a special piece or five for your collections.

We’re planning a small cars and diecast morning for November, and a special event for December, just before we all get busy for the holidays. So hang tight, we’ll roll up the doors and pull the cars out again soon! 🏎️

Special thanks to our team for coming thru all week, and gold stars for our Studio Manager, @patstar for all the merchandising and coordination- we would have been so screwed without you! 😅

‼️JUST IN!‼️
LADC post-event meetup and drop!
Kaido House Garage Venice
Sun Oct 5 5-7PM

We understand the disappointment around @losangelesdiecastclub show hours being cut early on Sunday. (This was NOT our team’s decision, btw!) Many of you are traveling great distances to attend, and you’ve all waited an entire year since our last LADC event.

So to keep the fun going, we will be opening the doors at the KH Garage in Venice after the event! We put together a very limited combo that includes a chance to win the coveted @offsetpins Venice YUME pin!

We’ll also roll out one of our special rides that we are not taking to LADC, partly because it’s a freak show of its own.

So come chill with our team, pick up some goods (our diecast counter will be open!) and if you fancy a combo drop with a chance to score, Sunday evening will be the time.

PRIORITY will be given to LADC ticket holders. Depending on turnout, we reserve the right to deploy a lottery or similar system to make it fair.

Thank you for your unwavering support, Kaido spirit and good vibes!

Kaido House is proud to support the 2nd @losangelesdiecastclub event at the @petersenmuseum on October 5! The event promises to be even bigger and better than last year’s. Of course, we are bringing an all new LTDEDN that will be available at the event in limited quantities. Our US and Japan based teams will be on site, and we’re bringing several full size KH rides for the car show. We are also excited to see what @tenmildiecast has in store for you collectors out there. More updates as we close in on the event!

Happy Publication Day to “What Kind Of Dog Is That?” 📚 🐶

From being cast, to the photoshoot day, to the fabulous @pawsitivemgmt launch party, friends getting their copies, and everything in between, being a part of this book has been nothing short of magical. Thanks for choosing us to be a part of your book, @thegracechon. It was clearly love at first sight for Ruthie too.

Since the moment @lacalabazita22 brought 2lb Ruthie to me at @pointbreezevet after being found by @k_schott in an alley on 3/16/21, not one day has gone by where someone doesn’t ask me, “What Kind Of Dog Is That?” Now, I not only have the answers from @embarkvet, but I can point them to my favorite book from @w.w.norton that celebrates mixed breed dogs of all sizes. If that sick & scared tiny puppy could only know what special places her life would take us together…

“What Kind Of Dog Is That?” By @thegracechon is available wherever you get your books. I can’t wait for you to see all of the wonderful dogs inside. 💕

P.s. For some extra tears, read the acknowledgements page that Grace wrote at the end of the book thanking all of the rescues and organizations who helped to save these dogs. Ruthie would not be here without @pointbreezevet, @pittvetcardio, @bluepearl.pittsburgh, and the Allegheny Abused Animal Relief Fund who diagnosed, treated, and funded her heart surgery to repair her PDA. And later to @modernanimal, @vcatlc_pasadena, @laaservet, and @mashvet @mashvet_neurology who diagnosed and help treat her idiopathic epilepsy. You are all superheroes.
