After taking a break from her creative practice while raising two children, she recently returned to making work through photography, video and generative media. Her work comes from a curiosity about perception, sensory experience, the body and the small details that can make something familiar suddenly feel strange. Her background in science and design still influences the way she approaches images — through observation, experimentation and an interest in materiality. AI has become a way for her to return to that process and explore ideas that previously would have been difficult to produce independently.
