a novel love story | ★ ★ ★ ★

this book is my second book of ashley poston and god i loved it so so much. in the beginning, i found it to be a bit slow but i kept going cuz the premise was very interesting. this story is so unique… the main character, elsy finds herself in the setting of her favorite book series, a beautiful fictional time called quixotic falls. she runs into the people she spent months and years reading about and i loved how as a reader i felt like i was in the shoes of someone who has a similar mindset as me and i found it super fun!! we have the love interest anders, who i don’t want to spoil anything about… but i loved the way everything tied in together beautifully at the end. overall, it was such a great reading experience. i also loved discussing w @kovtures and i enjoyed our buddy read sm can’t wait for the next one 💗

what a way to conclude an amazing series and era! kian and scar’s story was EVERYTHING (yes capitalized). they were so sweet, my heart is for them now!

kian ishida, guys? the cutest sweetest hockey player (my favorite since i read him on collide) and finally we got his story as the main character. and im starting with tagging him as the fomo personification, the guy couldn’t stand not being in a place; but that’s kian ishida guys, a friend that loves to be there, to be present; we going to see a deeper side of him, and guys, you’ll gonna love him much more!

next, our pretty smarty girl, scarlett rose!! oh, she’s the most caring and loving person ever, and there’s a bag of hope inside of her, but no one can see that cuz of that old reputation she had. she wants to shed it and her only solution comes in the form of a charming, tattooed, six-foot-two hockey player!!

the journey of these two was so funny, so exciting to read that its the only thing that’s been on my mind for the past days 😩 so if you haven’t read embrace yet, do it!! it’s so worth it 🧡

thanks @authorbalkhabra for creating these beautiful characters, hope we can continue reading more of your creations!🧡

there aren’t enough words in the english language to express how much I loved this book. what a beautifully written masterpiece. truly felt like i lived with lenny and miles… every bit of emotion, every moment was reflected in my heart. such strongly written characters that you can’t help but root for like they’re your own best friend. what a journey oh my god and it was even better because i read this with @poppireads and both of us were speaking of our experiences as we read which I believe is what a good book can really invoke in you.

can’t wait to read more books that will warm my soul like this. 🧡

the final book of the rome, kentucky series really had me in my feels 😩 i loved james and madison so much, their story was so perfect. james is so kind, patient and would literally give madison the world if he could. i loved how considerate and loving he is and madison, oh she was everything. a character that reflected so many people’s reality… being so overwhelmed living in a big city, wondering if the dream that you thought you were chasing was what you actually wanted. i could see so many characteristics of myself in her, which made the book all the more personal to me.

i’m really going to miss this town, the four couples were so perfectly written and the vibes and ambiance provided the perfect form of escapism for me.

can’t wait to read more of sarah’s work in the future. i highly highly recommend this series 💜

this series has my whole heart and this book was my favorite so far!!

I absolutely loved emily and jack’s relationship, them being neighbours made the book sooo fun. the way they started off as rivals and then became friends, each other’s confidantes and slowly lovers, their relationship buildup was just perfect!

and the thing about this series, it’s so easy to read and fall in love with, I cannot recommend it enough!!

I had the best time reading this with my beloved @poppireads 💜

oh annie and will were so so precious. i adored every moment of this book. this town has become so precious to me and I’ve been loving basking in this cozy atmosphere. i saw so much of myself in annie and her wins felt so personal to me. I’m truly obsessed with how will loves her so fiercely and unapologetically. just from the beginning, the amount of attention and care he showed towards her, really warms my heart. their love story was so beautiful to see, and I can’t wait to read the rest of the love stories that Rome, Kentucky has in store for me.

this book was exactly what I needed. it had the perfect amount of romance, comedy and character growth. i loved the individuality of Noah and Amelia and how both of them went through their own process of healing and coming to terms with themselves and each other. this little town is sooo perfect, truly reminds me so much of stars hollow in Gilmore girls and I can’t wait to go back to this town again.
